Bancontact Mobile allows customers to pay using the Bancontact app on their mobile devices via QR code or app redirect.

  1. In Adyen:

    • Enable Bancontact Mobile in your Adyen Customer Area.
  2. In VTEX:

    • Go to Store Settings > Payment > Settings.
    • In the Payment Conditions tab, click the Add Payment Method button.
    • Search for Bancontact Mobile and select it.
    • Associate it with the Adyen provider.
    • Save the configuration.

Business Rules

Payment Flow

  1. The customer selects Bancontact Mobile at checkout.
  2. A QR code is generated for the customer to scan with the Bancontact app, or they are redirected to the app if on a mobile device.
  3. The customer confirms the payment within the app.
  4. Adyen confirms the transaction and sends a webhook.
  5. The connector updates the order status in VTEX.

Specific Rules

  • Capture: Always immediate.
  • Refund: Allowed in partial or full amounts.
