The most popular payment method in Portugal

1. In Adyen:

   • Enable MultiBanco in your Adyen Customer Area.

2. In VTEX:

   • Go to Store Settings > Payment > Settings.
   • In the Payment Conditions tab, click the button.
   • Search for MultiBanco and select it.
   • Associate it with the Adyen provider.
   • Save the configuration.
   • Note: Ensure your store has the email template multibanco-payment-information configured to send payment details to customers.

Business Rules

Payment Flow

1. The customer selects MultiBanco at checkout.
2. The connector generates a payment reference and entity.
3. An email is sent to the customer with the payment details.
4. The customer completes the payment at an ATM or via online banking using the provided details.
5. Adyen receives the payment confirmation and sends a webhook.
6. The connector approves the payment and updates VTEX.

Specific Rules

• Expiration: The payment reference has a specific validity period (usually 3 days).
• Refund: Allowed in partial or full amounts.
